the mix of hiking and climbing provided by this via ferrata gives beginners the opportunity to experience some of the sensations of more experienced climbers. The Tête d’Eléphant route is high on the cliff face and runs over a succession of steep and sometimes backwards-leaning faces.
The unforgettable Saint Guérin crossing is a 10cm beam... After approximately 1hr30 of climbing, you will be rewarded at the summit with a stunning panorama of St Jean d’Aulps, the Roc d’Enfer and Mont Blanc.
The route home is via the forest and the signposted “Couteau” route.
