It is also known for its “vertical kilometer,” a benchmark route that attracts enthusiasts of steep climbs and trail runners seeking to push their limits every year. Starting from Les Putheys, the ascent goes “straight up the slope,” offering ideal training terrain for athletes.

Every first Sunday in July, this trail hosts the famous Crève Cœur race, whose name refers to the icy spring that gushes forth on the plateau just before the summit.
