In December 2026, a new property from the Mont-Blanc Collection group. This historic village hotel is currently undergoing a major renovation that preserves its architectural identity.
Behind a silhouette that remains unchanged and is instantly recognizable to regulars, the building has been reinvented to offer a fresh take on Alpine hospitality. True to the philosophy of the group, which has deep roots in Haute-Savoie, Garance aims to combine understated elegance, contemporary comfort, and a strong connection to the local community. The 4-star Garance Hotel and its Alpine brasserie, Airelles (whose name is a nod to the establishment’s historic name), will highlight local expertise, premium materials, and an experience crafted down to the finest detail, to offer an authentic and refined wellness retreat in the heart of the resort.
In addition to its 65 guest rooms and brasserie, Garance will feature numerous spaces designed to meet the needs of all guests: a cocktail bar, karaoke, swimming pool, Nordic spa (infrared sauna, Nordic bath, and treatment rooms), yoga and fitness area, seminar rooms, ski and bike room, as well as spaces dedicated to children and teenagers.
Beyond their high-end positioning, these two projects illustrate a fundamental trend. That of a mountain region reinventing itself by showcasing its existing heritage. This approach helps preserve the village’s identity while meeting the expectations of a discerning clientele seeking personalized experiences and places with meaning.
